March Birthstone & Fun Facts

Happy Friday and Happy March 1st!

This first day of March always gets me excited for spring. Not only warmer temperatures, spring colors, and spring dresses but also the gorgeous March birthstone, Aquamarine!

This color is such a breath of fresh air after getting through the dull winter months. I love aqua in fashion, home décor, and of course jewelry! This color is stunning and complimentary on many skin tones and can be seen all over the red carpet.

Aquamarine as a gemstone ranges from pale blue to deep blue and the deeper the color of blue the steeper the price tag. It is also a very durable stone and the largest supply comes from Brazil. Aquamarine has a very unique color that leaves quite an impression. It is a crystal that is known of the gemstone of the sea and it does have that refreshing, cooling element and honestly makes me think of mermaids.
